Green Britain Day 2010

One year on, one year greener.
Today is Green Britain day and officially welcomes a summer filled with events aimed at encouraging us all to think and act greener.
Since its inauguration last year Team Green Britain (TGB) has been inspiring people to turn ideas into action. Continuing to highlight the greener side of things to the nation, TGB are still working towards reducing our carbon footprint by the London 2012 Olympics. Growing your own food, cycling to work, insulating your home or swapping unwanted stuff are just a few ways people have been doing their bit.
Whether you're planning a culinary creation for the Big Lunch (18th July), cycling to work during Bike Week (19th - 27th June) or simply making small changes at home or work, by getting involved, you'll be joining hundreds of thousands of us making a difference.
At ABa we will be continuing to look at our own actions and will be implementing new strategies to further decrease our carbon footprint. By making our working practices more sustainable, we are contributing to a greener, more sustainable Britain.
