Retailers come out on top.
7th May 2010

Despite the recession, British retailers have come out on top in a recent survey from the Reputation Institute. Their UK Pulse Report for 2010 measured the corporate reputation of the Top 140 British companies. This year half of the top 10 positions have been given to high street retailers - a commendable achievement considering the last 12 months of financial uncertainty across many UK markets.
Another positive indicator for the British high street is that in overall terms, UK retailers have ranked higher in the global standings than those in the US. And indeed, when looking at insight provided on industry reputation, 75% of the UK industries analysed scored higher than the global average. The report additionally highlighted that the key driver of reputation in the UK this year is Products & Services.
In an online discussion with Anthony Johndrow, Managing Director of the Reputation Institute US, his key message rang very true for ABa and the work we carry out with our clients; while it does pay to communicate, making it relevant for your audience & engaging with them will have a much higher impact on your corporate reputation.
From the list of highly reputed UK companies, ABa is currently working in partnership with Royal Mail Group, Sainsbury's, HSBC & DSGi amongst others.
